In July 2019, two consultation events were held, at which we discussed the future of Phoenix Academy and how we can work together to best enhance the learning environment of the school. On behalf of Future Academies, we would like to express our gratitude towards all the staff, students, parents and local residents who attended and brought their feedback.
In the early stages of the consultation, we set out our initial ideas to address the challenges the school currently faces. We also outlined the improvements that we seek to make across the site, with the overall aim of improving the educational experience across the school community.
The information panels that were on display can be accessed here and is also currently available in the school reception should you wish to come in and have a look. Comment forms are also available at reception if you would like to leave feedback.
The consultation is ongoing: we are analysing and evaluating the feedback that we received in July, using it to help us shape our plans going forward. We have been pleased to see that the feedback provided by the community is largely positive, with many people recognising the need to improve the facilities available on site. Where concerns are raised, we will be taking these into account when forming our solutions to the challenges identified.
We will be showcasing a more developed version of our plans at a second round of consultation events, to be held on the 16th & 17th October 2019. We cordially invite you to these events, which will give you the opportunity to pose any questions you may have and to give your feedback. All are welcome to attend, and we hope to see as many of you as possible there:
Wednesday 16th October, 3pm – 8pm
Thursday 17th October, 3pm – 8pm
Venue: The Vibe, Phoenix Academy, The Curve, Shepherd’s Bush, London, W12 0RQ
