We take our responsibilities to our families and the local community very seriously. Phoenix is a school for White City and Shepherds Bush, and our aim is to help the whole community to develop and prosper.
We communicate with our parents on a regular basis. As well as parents’ evenings, we have information evenings and other opportunities to meet staff. We send home five reports each year on your child’s progress and attitude to learning, so you are always up to date.
We have strong links with primary schools, Hammersmith & Fulham Council, higher education providers, local charities, religious organisations, and community workers.
One way we connect with parents is through Academic Review Days.
Due to the recent outbreak of measles at one of the schools in our borough, LBHF and Public Health England agreed to send schools a measles factsheet to aid your understanding of the issue. We felt that we should share this information with parents and carers to raise awareness of the risk. You will find links embedded in the document with access to more information.
Please note there has been no reason to suspect that this has affected any Phoenix students. We are publicising this message to ensure that you are aware of the current situation in the borough and to give you guidance on the disease. Students at Phoenix are vaccinated, but please read the information should you have any concerns, or are unsure if your child has received the MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine.
